Understanding the Femmes du Vin judging process

Our team at FdV takes the integrity of the selection process seriously. When applications are received candidates names are removed and assigned a numerical code. This is done by an individual hired by FdV, and not a member of the Board of Directors. Once all applications have been received, they are sent directly to our judging panel.

Our judging panel is outside the FdV organization and acts independently in the selection process, while upholding our core beliefs in inclusion and diversity. Once successful candidates have been chosen, the numerical codes associated with the successful candidates are sent back to the FdV staff member and then matched.

At NO POINT does any member of the FdV Board of Directors have access to applications, nor do they have any influence on the selection process.
